Heard on the Street: Naomi Campbell Accepts Global Advocacy Award

Annika Harris

Find out why supermodel and activist Naomi Campbell has committed to advocating for the unheard across the globe.

“This journey that I am on gives me a sense of fulfillment. When I committed to doing this work, I was not aware of the difficult tasks ahead but I did realize one thing. I wanted to give back to communities of all various circumstances, all the things that I had to fight for in my own life. To be seen. To be heard. To be included. To be accepted and to be given hope when it seems there is none.”

—Naomi Campbell explains why she has committed to the global relief of homelessness; poverty; HIV/AIDS; basic education; diversity; inclusion; world hunger; and LGBTQ equality, while accepting the Global Advocacy Award at the 2020 Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Greater New York Gala, at the New York Marriott Marquis on Saturday, Feb. 1st. The Human Rights Campaign is the United States’ largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organization. Naomi wore ared Zuhair Murad gown that draped her body beautifully and featured a long cape that cascaded into a train. She complemented the look with Fred Leighton Jewelry.

This is very good news about the advocacy award. This is won by a black lady because she has struggled a lot for this award and now I can check https://allessayvikings.com/review-on-essayontime-com/ to find out quality work. She is the only lady who deserved this award and she has won this. I want to say cognates you for this award.
