Find out why your favorite celebrity's social media content will now include regionally-targeted voting information.

Amazon Studios recently announced it’s getting into the fight to educate and engage American voters ahead of the regional and national elections on Nov. 3, 2020, with its nonpartisan #AllInForVoting initiative.

The studio was inspired by the Amazon Original movie All In: The Fight for Democracy, which examines the nation’s history of voting and voter suppression, especially in the case of Stacey Abrams, who lost the Georgia gubernatorial race in 2018 to Brian Kemp by less than 55,000 votes. Amazon Studios is working with 50 ambassadors from the worlds of acting, art, music, sports, and influence to share election information and mobilize voting on their digital platform. Each ambassador will adopt a state or territory so their message — such as registration deadlines, how and when to vote, vote early and vote by mail updates, and concerns of voter suppression tactics — targeted regionally.

Several #AllInForVoting State Ambassadors have already been announced. Don Cheadle (Missouri), Viola Davis (Rhode Island), Taraji P. Henson (Washington, D.C.), Janelle Monáe (South Carolina), Offset (Georgia), Billy Porter (Pennsylvania), Sheryl Underwood (Arkansas), and Gabrielle Union (Nebraska) are just some of the confirmed ambassadors expected to post digital activations ranging from “online conversations and short-form content to social media posts, sharing vital knowledge about how audiences in each state can vote.”

#AllInForVoting is also an effort to highlight factual local information and overcome misinformation and misrepresentations, along with educating American voters on how to cast their ballot during this public health crisis without compromising their health and safety.

Key partners of #AllInForVoting are: Fair Fight, Advancement Project, Alliance for Youth Action, ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, All Voting Is Local, Black Voters Matter, Campus Voter Project, Community Change, Election Protection, Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, HeadCount, Indivisible, Jewish Women International, Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, LUCHA, Movement Voter Project, National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC), People for the American Way, Rock the Vote, Southern Poverty Law Center, Voto Latino Foundation, and When We All Vote.
