In celebration of the release of Monsters and Men, NEON and Movie Pass partnered for film’s New York City premiere at the BAM Harvey Theater in Brooklyn on Tuesday, Sept. 25th. Cast members John David Washington, Anthony Ramos (She's Gotta Have It), Kelvin Harrison Jr. (The Birth of a Nation), Chanté Adams (Roxanne, Roxanne), and Cara Buono (Stranger Things) attended the premiere, as well as the film’s writer and director Reinaldo Marcus Green. In addition, host and social commentator Toure moderated a special Q&A discussion following the screening.

Synopsis:

When a young father witnesses the police shooting of an unarmed Black man, the tight-knit community of Bedford-Stuyvesant is pushed tot he brink.

Monsters and Men opened in theaters today in New York City and Los Angeles, and will be released nationwide on Oct. 5th.
