Quick Pics: 'Growing Up Hip Hop’s JoJo Simmons Ties the Knot
On Sunday, Oct. 27th, JoJo Simmons wed his fiancé Tanice Amira at the Legacy Castle in New Jersey.
The Growing Up Hip Hop cameras caught the nuptials for an upcoming episode. The Simmons family is used to sharing their milestones and lives on TV. They appeared as children and teenagers on Run’s House from 2005 to 2009, and now they share their adult lives with the Growing Up Hip Hop and Growing Up Hip Hop: New York audience. Simmons, whose first name is Joseph after his father Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons, is the only one of the clan to play a major role in the shenanigans of both series.
JoJo endeared himself to GUHH viewers when he proposed to Amira on camera on Aug. 23, 2018, after dating for eight years and welcoming daughter Mia Kaylee Simmons on Feb. 20, 2016. He maintains a reputation of being a stand-up guy and offering good counsel among the younger cast members across both series.
JoJo and Amira were joined by his sisters Vanessa and Angela Simmons, Rev. Run, Grown-ish actor and brother Diggy Simmons, and Bow Wow at the wedding that was designed by Tiffany Cooke Events.
Growing Up Hip Hop returns December 5th on WE tv.
