Carli Lloyd Thinks Playing For The NFL Would Be A 'Pioneering Moment For Women'
Carli Lloyd recently accomplished a 55-yard kick with the Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens. According to Business Insider, the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team captain then received offers from the NFL. Lloyd was offered the chance to kick for a team on a preseason game but unfortunately had to turn it down. The soccer star said no because she has a USWNT friendly match to attend. Lloyd told NBC she thinks she could really play for the NFL, creating a “pioneering moment for women.”
